    I loved this recipe! My mother loves pecans/pralines. I saw Paula make this on one of her shows a couple weeks before my mother's birthday and I decided to make it for her....it was my first cheesecake from scratch and it was such a HUGE hit! This is highly recommended as a dessert for the holidays or any other special occasion....you will be the talk of the party for bringing it! Super easy!!!!

    I liked this a lot. The key to making the topping is to not over cook it. Really, once you add the corn syrup, since it's pretty thick, just heat it until you see bubbles around the edges, stir it, and take it off the heat. It will thicken more once it cools. Then it's perfect!

    I assisted my brother with this recipe last night. He has no previous baking experience, so I found this recipe to be very easy. The cheesecake's flavor was ok (not the best I've had. The praline topping was good. I was very surprised the topping didn't call for butter. I also see a lot of complaints that the topping was hard. We cooked the topping for about 3-5 minutes. It did not take anytime. Also, keep in mind that the sauce thickens as it cools. When we pulled it off the stove so fast, I was getting worried, because it was looking a little watery. As it cooled it thickened up to the perfect consistency. It also tasted better the next day after it sat overnight in the fridge. I will definitely keep the recipe and use my personal cheesecake recipe and use Paula's topping.

    This cheesecake was super easy & delicious! By far one of the best I've had. I put mine in a water bath & it came out perfect. For the praline topping, I think you really have to be familiar with making things like this for it to work. I make pecan pralines all of the time, so this was easy for me. My husband who hates pecans loved this cheesecake, and has requested it again!

    This was the first time I have ever made a homemade cheesecake and this one was very very easy. My husband loves the praline topping so much that he was licking the spoon. LOVED IT!! Will definitely make again.
