We gave this one a go today. We had to sub our italian bread crumbs for the oats as I always have that on hand. Otherwise followed exact. Oh and made it triple the size.

OK It is very moist. At 1 hour mine was not cooked in the center. Depending on ovens id say add 10-15 minutes. ***Always use a thermometer.*** My brood {Ages 6, 7, 11} said it was a bit bland. Will try it again with garlic, cayanne, and chili powder in it. Also will use ground pork or chicken for a third of it, instead of all hamburg.

This meatloaf is the best we have ever had!!!! My husband and I both loved it! My husband does not usually like green pepper, but he admitted it was part of what made the meatloaf so tastey! This will be the meatloaf we have from now on! The sweet sauce on the top made a huge difference, also. I made extra to use when serving. Yum, yum, yum!!!

Didnt' really care for this recipe at all, it fell apart and was too moist, maybe I did something wrong. I did like the glaze though. I use this glaze with other meatloafs that I make, mainly the Mom's Meatloaf from this very same website.

i love meat loaf its the perfect comfort food, and this recipe is terrific i make it with turkey for my father because he can't have beef and he loved it. one thing that i didn't like about this recipe is the oats. it just sounds strange to me, so i used seasoned bread crumbs and it came out even better than with the oats!

I really like this meat loaf; the only thing is I wish I had the nutritional values to it.

I cooked this and added garlic and soy sauce to the recipe... I also used 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, 1/4 of my baby's rice cereal, and parm cheese. I alwayssss stuff cheese in my loaf. This time I used (1/4 cup asiago, a few pinches of parm and 4 slices of american I made additional sauce for over-top of the loaf (butter, brown sugar, ketchup, dijon, worcheshire sauce, tomatoes [make extra] . I just eyed it up and tasted it.

I used a mixture of ground pork and ground beef. The first piece did fall apart (which delighted me because every other meatloaf I have made has been tough However, on going back for seconds, it did not fall apart but was still tender My solution practice self-discipline let it rest a full 15 minutes.
