I served this dish last night for my guests at my holiday dinner party. They loved it, I knew it would be a hit and it was. So much so, friends were asking me for the recipe. Great Souffle.

At the family gathering for Thanksgiving, I knew that I brought the best dish when the family came to me during dinner to say, " Did you make the sweet potatoes?" They said the potatoes could almost be a dessert, but said, "They are so delicious!" I just got a call asking me to bring them for Christmas. I did cut back the sugar in half. So only 1/2 the white sugar and 1/2 the light brown sugar. I also used Mexican vanilla which has a little stronger vanilla flavor. My family ate the extra half pan that I left at home for two days.

It was very good and everyone loved it. Personally for me, I might use a little less sugar next time. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

JUST WONDERFUL! My mother and I served this at Thanksgiving and everyone just enjoyed the souffle so much. Now my husband wanted to share this very tasty dish at our Christmas dinner at our church. No better way to fellowship than with great food. Thanks Food Network and Paula Deen and Aunt Peggy for an awesome recipe!

AWESOME! More like a desert! I took this to my sister's for Thanksgiving and EVERYONE Loved it! I did cut the souffle sugar in half for because of a diabetic, but it did not seem to affect the taste at all. I am ready to make it again!
This is the dish that I am now going to make whenever I go anyplace or have people over!
Thank you Paula and Aunt Peggy for sharing!

It's not a holiday meal without this casserole on the table. I have been making this for years. This is the dish that everyone goes back for seconds, no matter how full:
