This was wonderful! And not dry like I usually think mealtoaf is. I didn't have the onions for the topping, but I still thought it tasted good.

This made my husband smile when I made it for him. It's a great alternative to the same old regular meat loaf I usually make. It really does taste like a bacon cheese burger but without the buns. Thanks Paula Dean!

I made this sometime ago and Paula this was just awesome. Even my kids loved it and one of them said they don't like meatloaf. Well he had seconds : Great food and enjoy your shows! I did leave out the cheese, just because I dont like most cheeses.

If you are looking for the traditional meatloaf don't try this one. I served this to a group of meatloaf lovers and everyone agreed this did not cut the mustard.

This is a wonderful meatloaf, great flavor and very easy to make! My mothers meatloaf has been an item of contention in our family for 30 years! I came across this receipe trying to find a meatloaf my family would love! This did the job! I've made it a few times since that first attempt. We have a farm and raise our own meat so we use fresh ground beef from our farm! My family has loved it everytime!

My family really likes this version of meatloaf. Sometimes I cheat and use store bought bacon bits, saves lots of time and splatter. The only other change was I omitted the mayo and it was plenty moist. Great recipe Paula - thanks!
