we are in the process of making it and we added a little paprika to it and took out the half and half for whole milk and used italian grated cheeses with sharp cheddar cheese since i cant find smoked cheddar in hawaii. we also are seriving it with pineapple pork sausage( so hawaiian. hooah and aloha from schofield barracks hawaii

This was fabulous!!!! I made it last minute for dinner and everyone loved it. I did not used two pkgs of cream cheese, and it still had an awesome flavor. I would make this all of the time if I could afford to. Thanks Paula.

Tasty and very creamy, very rich. Way too much cheese, next time I would definetly cut back to half of every cheese that was directed in the recipe. With 2 cups of every cheese mixed in it definetly didn't need cheese melted on top

This recipe is outrageously good. It's quite decadent...not your everyday mac and cheese, but worth the splurge once in a while. I'm glad I read the other reviews first, since I decided to take the advice of the other reviewers who suggested cutting back on the cream cheese to only one 8oz package. It was plenty, and it came out perfectly without the extra package. I also prepared this in a 9x13 casserole dish and it completely filled the dish.

This recipe is absolutely amazing!!! I love mac n cheese and have been looking for a good recipe and this one is definitely my fave so far. The sauce was very thick, creamy, and cheesy, which i love. The bacon and smoked cheddar gives it awesome flavor and my whole family loved it! I cut this recipe in half and it still make a lot-- i'd say half would serve at least 5 people. Overall this is a keeper!!
