Delicious!! The garlic & herb cream cheese spread, Dijon mustard and bacon are a wonderful combination.

Did NOT like it at all. Others who ate it, said it was OK, but I am sure they would prefer me to NOT make it again.

I'm giving it a 4 only because I didn't have all of the ingredients on-hand, so had to improvise, however whatever I made was delicious! 5 stars! I made my own veggie cream cheese by combing it with parsley, dill and scallions and instead of bacon used polish sausage. Definitely will be making them again!

This is a very light and tasty treat. Go a bit lighter with the mustard and use about half the cream cheese. Perfect finger food with cocktails.

The strong flavor of the mustard was the problem. Spreading it on the pastry was a bad idea. It did not go well with the cream cheese and bacon. It was an embarrassment at a neighborhood party. The second time I made these, I whipped together the cream cheese with one tablespoon of mayonnaise, only 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of bacon fat from frying the bacon and fresh ground pepper. No need for the cornmeal-bad flavor. Just flour the board.Load it with the chopped bacon, roll, slice and bake. Nice and savory. But not quite Paula's recipe.

Surfing past Food Network yesterday and saw that Kevin Gillespie, my favorite Atlanta chef, was on Paula's show helping her make these. Just pulled a batch out of the oven, as I was testing them before I take them to a party tonight. Just FABULOUS! Not sure how the first commentor was able to make them or get the recipe before the show aired. Guess they are just a hater! Make these. VERY easy and just delicious!
