OMG! Super easy and abfab delicious - you become "hooked" on these. Made a whole tray and my family could not stop eating them. Had to make another whole batch the next day. I am going to try turkey bacon too to see of that works as pork bacon. When you make these-definitely double the portion of however many you think you will need. The breadstick absorbs the flavor so you will not have a lot of bacon fat pooling up. Use the parchment paper.

These breadsticks were absolutely yummy and simple! I actually used the soft garlic breadsticks from the freezer section, thawed in fridge along with 2 whole slices of bacon on each. Then made some following the original recipe. I stacked them on the same serving platter and both went well, I made them for a luncheon at my husbands' place of business.

These were a huge hit! They were seriously gone within 10 minutes. I couldn't find breadsticks with sesame seeds so I used garlic ones. Yum!

They look wonderful! The taste not so great. I wrapped the bacon around both breadsticks and wheat pretzel braids. The breadsticks had more flavor then the braids. I wanted these to be a huge hit but it was more of a floop. I did cook them longer than 15 minutes; on the video the Deen brothers cook theirs for 30 minutes which would be too long. It took mine about 22 minutes. I was able to make these fairly crisp it's the flavor thats lacking. We dipped them in mustard and I must say I had to throw out the rest as there were no takers for the ones left. A waste of good center cut bacon! I guess I'll stick to scallops or chicken in bacon not bread products. :(

These were great! I did cook them for more than 20 minutes though. I wonder what kind of flavor Romano will give when I make these again?

The recipe directions above advise us to put them in a 350 oven for 15 minutes. On the show, directions were to put in the oven for 30 minutes. Perhaps this would take care of the soggy bread problem.
