Delicious! I was a little worried this might be mushy in the middle, so instead of baking in a big pan, I cut the pieces of french bread a bit smaller and let them soak in the mixture overnight in a bowl. Then the next morning I just spooned the mixture into a muffin pan and baked for 30 minutes instead of 40. They came out wonderful and made the cutest lil french toast muffins!! Makes about 24 muffins. Oh and I just used chopped walnuts and powdered sugar on top after baking instead of the praline topping.

I am single, but i love this recipe to have enough to eat all week its so good! It is more like a dessert than a breakfast. I would consider it like a donut...really bad for you but soooo good.

Made this a breakfast dinner and it was a total hit. I cut up strawberries and kiwi instead of the praline.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit anxious about this stuff soaking overnight in my fridge!! Absolutely no worries..it was awesome!! Turned baguette slices over before baking in a Corning roaster pan, so no overflow and set perfectly after 15 min rest.. you really have to use French bread..1/2c brown sugar/Splenda mix and 1/2 stick butter as advised cut into Praline topping works quite well...guests picking on it cold..no leftovers at all

I had this for the first time at a Brunch and it was fabulous!! I loved how it tasted and wasn't too sweet but yet all the flavors were there. Everyone had seconds and I also loved the texture and how it really is a comfort food!!

Easy to prepare. Family did not care for it though. Edges were done but the middle was not. I recommend checking it at 40 minutes...mine needed to be in for almost and hour. It was OK but if I ever make it again I will use a different bread next time. Also one note-NOT good for folks with dental issues (like braces. Very sticky and can get caught in your teeth.

AMAZING!!! I've fallen in love with this. My family loved it. So easy to prep the night before and just pop it in oven the next morning. I left it in fridge over night to find out my mom ate a piece before it was baked!! She didn't know.

SO greasy it was mushy. Terrible texture. Not enough flavor on the bread. Didn't even finish eating it. Threw it out.
