PERFECT... I made this for my Fiance & I and was amazed at the results, how wonderful this was. It made a lot, too much for the two of us, we ate about 2-3 pieces each, so my fiance said she was going to take it to work for her co-workers and bring the rest home... Nothing came home except an empty pan and demands for the recipe!!! In just over a week, two people have made it and brought it in to her work too. I hope she doesn't get tired of this because I will be making it a lot. The best breakfast casserole I have ever tasted.

Incredible way to begin a special Sunday morning. Made it the day before, and popped it into the oven an hour before we wanted to eat. I used pecans on half in order to please sone family members. Leftovers were nice.

I like using descriptions such as "extra moist" over "soggy" and "decadent" rather than "too sweet".
This recipe is a champion and anyone who has a problem with its taste or process is a sleeper cell terrorist. I'm attaching an extra star. *

I found that when you overlap the bread, it didn't bake all the way. So I layed the bread flat in my baking dish and it baked up better.

This is a wonderful dish to prepare for Sunday company. The flavors are delicious, and I came out looking like the chef I am not!

This dish is just amazing. Although the ingredients may sound a bit rich, the taste is just awsome. Not too rich, not too sweet, perfectly balanced. It came out of the oven bubbly and the aroma to die for. The whole family loved this one, Thanks Paula for another great recipe.

My, 11 yr old, granddaughter and I prepared this the night before a large family brunch. Our guests couldn't stop raving on, when their mouths weren't busy consuming this tantalizing treat. Sorry, Paula, but we took full credit and couldn't stop smiling and winking at each other. We sinfully accepted every compliment as if we were culinary geniouses. We, however, decided we would 'fess up . . . in a year or two!
