This was wonderful. I added some sliced apples in the bottom of the pan and it is now a staple for our family brunches.

Oh my!!!! So simple & easy. And the smell as it bakes causes the Family to come running to the table even before its finished in the oven. They set & visit & laugh. I love you Paula Dean!!!God Bless ;-

I will never make skillet french toast again. This is so simple to make and so heavenly to eat. A new family favorite.

Made this for my son's baptism brunch. I can't tell you how many people asked for the recipe. Eveywhere I take this, it is gone in a heartbeat. I usually drizzle syrup over the top before I serve it. Thank you Paula for an easy, great family meal---you did it again!

It was a huge hit, and everyone wanted the recipe. For another taste treat, try using crossants for a delicious alternative to french bread. Split them in half first.

I have made this a few times and loved it, as did all my guests. I have sent this recipe to many people. It's great because I make most of it the night before and then I'm not having to work so hard in the kitchen in the morning and I can spend it visiting instead.

This is absolutely delicious french toast. The preparation the night before makes very easy on the day of serving. It is very rich, but so worth it for special occasions. Thank you for another great recipe Paula.

I took this for a work breakfast and served with warm syrup and mixed berries. Everyone asked for the recipe.
