This was a big hit with my family. It tasted like pecan pie and french toast. Didn't need syrup at all. Great choice for brunch.

I made this for our Friday morning breakfeast club at work and it was a hit! I had many people telling me how good it was and that they would like the recipe. Next time I am going to add a little more vanilla and maybe some lemon to kick it up a little more. I only used one stick of butter in the praline topping and it came out perfect!

Made this for a morning meeting and easy preparation the night before yielded a beautiful breakfast the next day. Everyone raved about it. Didn't need the syrup as it was sweet enough.

I brought this to work for a brunch and everyone loved it! It was gone in no time! I've had quite a few people ask for the recipe. I don't think I'll ever eat plain old french toast again!

I made this for 20 people and EVERYONE loved it. It was so rich no one used any maple syrup. I altered recipe to use sliced white bread (Pepperidge Farm and double the amount of pecan topping.

I sent my hubby to breakfast day at work with this dish. He got emails all day raving about it. I have to make it again so I can have a taste!

This recipe is quick, easy and delicious. I've served it to family and friends and plenty of children and it is ALWAYS a hit with everyone. I've even taken it to friends who have just had babies so that they can have a GREAT breakfast the next morning.(I measure out the topping ing. and take them a stick of butter to mix together before baking the casserole.
This is one of the "best dishes" I've ever made and you should try it!

DELICIOUS, that pretty much sums it up. I've been trying out all of Paula Deens recipies since last week. I've loved each and every one of them. I now find that I no longer dread cooking, I'm excited about it. Paula's recipies have given me confidence. I now know that the food will come out YUMMY GOOD as long as I'm cooking Paula's way. THANK YOU so MUCH Paula for making cooking EASY.
