    Perfect baked potato! Love the extra flavor and texture that the vegetable oil and kosher salt give the skin.

    This was the very first baked potato recipe that I ever tried, and I've never needed to look for another. The potatoes come out wonderful every time! The flavor is amazing, and the recipe is fool proof! Thank you Paula for sharing this awesome recipe! Yummy! :-D

    My very first time making baked potato, when to Costco and got the biggest size Potato they got and bake on 400 for 1hr and 15 min.......they were soft and crispy, just delicious, I will make this over again and will tell everyone friend family etc....so they know how to make a perfect BAKED POTATO, THANK YOU PAULA!!!!!!

    After an hour and fifteen minutes the potatoes were still not ready. I have a gas oven and everything usually cooks to perfection. It wasn't the case this time.

    Another topping I like for baked potatos is some thinly sliced chives.

    Also, I think foodnetwork needs some spell checkers for their website! "friend" bacon? :

    Potatoes have to be one of my top 3 favorite foods. Plus it really doesn't matter how they're cooked. One day I was craving baked potaotes and I saw this recipe and thought I'd give it a try. They turned out great!!!! I have never tasted any baked potatoe like this before. I did tweak one thing, instead of using vegetable oil, I used olive oil. Still came out great. Oh and I forgot to poke the holes in it!! Somehow they still came out great!!

    These potatoes are super easy and delicious! They are soft inside and crispy on the outside. The salt just gives them the right amount of flavor. Thanks Paula!
