When I saw how many people had reviewed this recipe I decided that I had to make it also. Yes, it tasted good, but in my opinion this recipe was definitely not worth the 2 hours needed to prepare it. My husband and teenage sons could not understand why they had to wait so long for a spaghetti dinner. :-(

This dish is so good. You can substitute ground turkey and whole wheat pasta and it's still delicious. If I could tolerate tomatoes better I'd make this once a week! It's nice to add extra veggies, carrots and additional bell peppers. If
making for picky eaters, puree sauce with veggies and make a separate casserole for them! Thanks Paula.

Baked Spaghetti night was a hit. Our picky eaters loved this dish. Served it with salad and Pillsbury french bread. It was very easy to make and very delicious. I added a dash of Cayenne pepper and some chopped white mushrooms to the sauce and it tasted great.

Made this as stated in recipe - didn't change a thing. Total hit! The sauce made it - and if anything I added a little more cheese between the layers. Great dish to share - I packed it and took to a friend's house with a salad and Ina Garten's Cheese Straw recipe (killer recipe as well! PERFECT!!!

This was an excellent recipe. The sauce had a delicious slow cooked flavor. I did reduce the salt by about a tablespoon and I increased the cheese by about a cup. Next time I make this, I did make more spaghetti, because I didn't think 8 oz was quite enough. Otherwise, it was delicious!

Very good. Tasted like a mix between spaghetti and lasagna. Will definately make this again.

I noticed that the written recipe was a bit different from the video. So I went with the video. I used all the ingredients, just as listed except that I doubled everything for a larger crowd and used a 15x12 pan. The crowd loved it.
