This is a wonderful recipe that I have used many times! I wouldn't change it a bit! It makes a BIG pan full. There are only two of us so I cut the leftovers into squares and freeze on a cookie sheet then put them in Food Saver bags and refreeze. Then, when we need a quick yummy meal, just place frozen squares in a baking dish in a 350 deg oven for about 30 to 45 minutes and it tastes just as great as the first time! Thank You So Much Paula for this great recipe!

I've made Paula's baked spaghetti numerous times -- it has a nice balance of flavors and everyone I've served it to likes it. With a big green salad and garlic bread, t's one of my go-to recipes for a casual meal when we have out-of-town company because I can make it in advance or pull it from the freezer and have an easy and tasty meal in a very short time. It also reheats well.

I can't wait around for sauce to simmer for one hour. Have put in crockpot at noon and sauce is ready to put together in time to bake for dinner. Great for a large gathering without the usual/expeced lasagne dish (it may surprise some people.

THIS IS AN UNDERESTIMATED DISH. THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT ALL THE SPICES AND FLAVORS TOGETHER THAT MAKE IT OUTSTANDING. YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE THE INGREDIENTS TO SUIT YOUR TASTE, BUT STRAY TOO FAR BECAUSE THIS ONE IS DEFINITLY A WINNER AS IS!!! THANKS PAULA FOR ANOTHER GREAT RECIPE.

This is a really good casserole that even some of my picky eaters loved. I made it with light sausage instead of groud meat the second time I cooked it and it was even better.

I had never made this before, and was looking for a great recipe. I love Paual Deen's food, so I tried this. I was in a rush, so I did it pretty much on the fly, not taking time to make measurements perfect and what not. And it still came out so great, all my family ate it!!!!!!!!!!!! Any recipe that my pickiests will eat will stay with us forever! Thank you Paula!

Best part it's easily altered. The ground meat for instance, change to turkey or chicken, or 1lb beef, .5 pounds pork, or some Italian sausage links, cut open. Don't like bell peppers add more onion or some mushrooms. Add some spinach to the ground meat.
The original with mushrooms in place of bell peppers is very good.

I'm a big fan of spaghetti and this is a new twist on one of my favorite dishes!! I made my sauce the way I usually do, but the baking seems to really bind the flavors. One thing is for sure I'm done with old spaghetti, my whole family loved it this way..so it's baked spaghetti from here on out!!

I have made this so many times and everyone likes it. It freezes well and is so easy to take for potlucks and is very nice to take to larger families as it makes a lot. There is nothing I can say bad about it.

Such a great dinner option that allows me to still fix something everyone likes but just a little bit different.
