I made this last night for my girlfriend and parents. Everyone loved it. I was surprised by how easy it was to make and it was sure nice to have a recipe where I already had all the ingredients, except for the fresh parsley. Parsley flakes and minced garlic from a jar were just fine, I cut back a little on the salt. I have made baked spaghetti several times, but this will be my go to recipe from now on.

I made this for my husband yesterday and he loved it. It is perfect if you have left over pasta noodles from the day before. There is a lot of flavor in this dish. He mentioned this recipe reminded him of his grandmother's goulash recipe she made for him growing up. Definitely a keeper.

I found this recipe and made it tonight because my husband requested baked spaghetti. It's fabulous. I DO NOT want to know how many calories are in each cheese filled serving! Ha! So, I can't have it too often because I am "watching my figure" but this is something I'll make again especially the night before my husband competes in a triathlon. Yes - I know I could use whole wheat pasta and low fat cheese but really, what fun would that be? Next time I will saute the onions and garlic like Paula does in her video. Also, I will use fresh tomatoes as soon as they are in season again.

As mostly everyone else has said, this recipe is fantastic just as is. The video does differ slightly from the printed recipe, and I would highly recommend sauteing the onions, green pepper and garlic first, as Paula does in the video, and then add the tomatoes and the tomato sauce and seasonings. It does make a difference. The flavor of the sauce is excellent; however, I will omit the italian seasoning next time because it seemed a bit overpowering. Also, I cut back on the amount of seasoned salt based on other reviews. Great recipe which can be altered to suit anyone's tastes!

I am in the process of making this -8 oz. of pasta for 10 servings! What am I missing? Also the Barilla whole wheat Angel hair is in a 13 oz box. I noticed it when I was boiling the pasta 1/2 of the box seemed very small. The sauce smells delicious. Doesn't seem enough sauce for many layers. Also, remove Bay leaves!!!

A HUGE hit with the whole family. I made it with gluten-free angel hair, and it was perfect. Well balanced flavor, and a gigantic kid-friendly, hubby-pleasing meal.

Delicious and easy. I left out the green pepper and used diced tomatoes with green chilies for a little zing.

What a great go-to recipe. Even better the second day. Easily adaptable to adding veggies, different meats, cheeses.
