This is my go to recipe for all get togethers. My son requests this every time he comes home from college. If there is any leftovers they go with him. I use thin spaghetti and double the cheese on top. Delicious!

I have made a version of this for over twenty years. It is kind of a go to recipe. By habit I make gallons of sauce and freeze it. I take out some sauce, mix in come cooked pasta and that can vary by what is in the pantry. I prefer Italian Cheese but have even used Mexican blend. Bake it until the chees melts. Make some garlic bread and salad and I am good to go. I have made this in quantities limeited only by the size of my pans and oven. Sometimes I mix in Italian Sausage to the sauce. Now that the kids are grown the quantity is smaller and sometimes make dinner for two with a leftover lunch. No matter enjoy the recipe.

I made this last night...and man was this good- of course it was look who gave it to us!! Only thing I changed was I used Philadelphia cream cheese shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese. And I rinsed the angel hair pasta after it was cooked with cold water so it wouldn't be sticky... It was alittle time consuming but well worth it!!!
Thanks Paula Dean

One of my FAVORITE recipes by Paula. Made it on numerous occasions and it's even better as leftovers during lunch at work the next day (nukes up perfectly. I use store bought sauce rather than making my own which cuts the prep time down substantially and perfect for a weeknight supper. Try substituting a cheese with jalapenos for the monterey or cheddar cheese ~ it adds a little more "personality" to the dish. LOVE this recipe and highly recommend it!

I just made this recipe as stated...only I added a little more cheese to the top. My husband loves this dish and it's been a great dish for leftovers. What I like about this is that my husband is not a big pasta fan...but, he eats huge portions of it. That's when I know it's good! Thank you Paula!

Really tasty and not difficult to prepare. I don't use all ground chuck, but use half ground chuck and half ground sausage. I also use red pepper to give it a bit of a kick. I've made this allot and alwyas get compliments on it. Even my nine year old son, who won't eat anything, eats it :.

This is a favorite around our house. I doubled the cheese and used thin or angel hair pasta. So good!
