I've made this a few times for pot luck and my son's graduation party. It is easy to make and very tasty. I've always received compliments and people requesting the recipe. This recipe is a keeper!!

Whenever I make this wonderful dish, my family just loves the aroma it makes throughout the whole house. They know that they are getting a "treat" for dinner. This is also a great dish to take to a covered dish event. My neighbors just loved it when I took it to a party!!!! They all requested the recipe!!!! Thanks, Paula!!!! I was sure to give you credit for the recipe!

This makes a great dish to take to friends who are sick or in need. All the cheese makes it a family favorite. Take a bag of lettuce, make a homemade vinagarette and a banana fluff (pudding using a flour, butter and nut crust, layered with cream cheese and whipping cream and you are an instant hero!

This was far better then we expected. Even our Mexican exchange student loved it. Of course, there are the usual substitutions - I didn't have Italian Seasoning so I used basil, oregano, thyme and tarragon (a must!!. I also did not want to make up Paula's seasoning due to the amount of salt (hubby on low salt diet so I just added some garlic powder and pepper. Also didn't use Seasoning Salt (for the same reason and just put in a pinch of celery powder. This is a great make-ahead meal for casual occasions or pot-lucks. It's a KEEPER!

This is very very close to the sauce recipe that my mom from Morganton, NC uses except she uses tomato paste instead of tomatoes and we always loved her sauce!! My whole family enjoyed this and will try it again definitely a keeper! Thanks again!
