I made these sweet potato wedges for dinner tonight and they were wonderful! They took about half the time to make as a baked sweet potato takes. Given that I love sweep potatos but work away from the house 14 hours a day, being able to make them quickly is great! I really liked the crispy aspect of the wedges and the cinnamon addition was great. Thanks so much for the recipe. These will be a regular dish at my house. Thanks for sharing the recipe Jamie and Paula!

I love sweet potatoes but usually have with pork or poultry. This was wonderful and so simple with the balsamic glazed London Broil. I did not crisp up in the broiler which other reviewers did and will try that next time. This will definetly be added to my favorites. I did leave the skin on the potatoes. The recipe does not say to peel them although Jamie did on the show. I would leave them on. Take advantage of the extra nutrients.

These were sooooooooo good! We actually made all of the "family tree" recipes from this episode and it was all wonderful! I melted the butter with the salt and pepper and cinn. in the microwave and just drizzled it over the potatoes, then tossed right on the pan (so I didn't need more than one pot!. We baked for 20 minutes, stirring half way, then pulled out of the oven so we could do the london broil under the broiler. Then, once the london broil was resting, I slipped the potatoes under the broiler for a quick crisp up. Absolutely wonderful dish and meal! Thanks, Paula! :

I saw the show first (and they did call for salt and pepper then read the first review. Even though that review was not great, I almost never follow a recipe like this one exactly anyway. I made this with only 2 potatoes so I used a half a stick of butter, which was plenty without being greasy. I added about a half teaspon of smoked paprika and a half teapson of smoked chipotle. I melted the butter and spices in the microwave and then brushed it on to the potatoes.
Didn't even dirty a pan! I also turned them once during cooking and then let them sit under the broiler a few minutes to give them a crisp edge. They were awesome. I am a big fan of sweet potatoes and these will be made regularly at my house. Delicious and easy!

These were wonderful...my husband couldn't stop eating them. I made them with a stick and a half of butter and added the salt and pepper. This will definitely be one of our family favorites.

These were very good, and I'll definitely be making again! Per the comments below - I watched the show today, and he does say 1 1/4 sticks butter, and with the melted mixture poured over the sticks, there is plenty for all. I did not salt/pepper, though. I make candied yams at Thanksgiving, and never salt/pepper, so did not with this recipe either.

I read the other comment about the recipe not being accurate. I did hear Paula say to add salt and pepper to it.

Actually the above comment is wrong. He DOES say 1 and 1/4 stick of butter which is 1 stick and 2 T.

According to the other reviews that I have read. The food network website has a hard time matching the receipe to the show. I suggest that the viewers really try to watch the show vs waiting to get the receipe on line because it doesn't match up. First of the receipe on line says 1/2 cup plus to tbsp of butter thats INCORRECT. As per the show Jaime Deen says 1 stick plus a half a stick of butter. So the online receipe shorts you about 2 tbsps of butter. Also per the show there is no salt or pepper that is added to the sweetpotatoes although the online receipe says to add salt and pepper. Food Network really does really need to try to correct this problem.
