This was so easy. I used an already made graham cracker crust and drizzled hot fudge over it at the end. Delicious!!

I've been making this for years but instead of topping with graham cracker crumbs, I drizzle it with chocolate syrup, sprinkle with slivered/sliced almonds and top with marachino cherries. Not only does it taste like a banana split, it looks like one too! EMJOY!

I have been making this recipe for 30 years and everyone loves it! I also add cherries and pecans to the top, it makes it look great. Instead of baking the crust, I put it in the freezer while I am preparing the other ingredients and it makes it a lot easier to spread the mixture. Paula states on her show that if you are uncomfortable about using raw eggs, use and egg subustitute, I am going to try this to see if there is any difference.

I have used this recipe before. It was wonderful but my concern now is using raw eggs which will not be baked. It really should be made using pasturized eggs or an egg substitute to be safe.

I have been making this recipe for years. I use crushed nuts and candied cherrys on the top. It really makes it a banana split with those added toppings. I usually make it in 2 9" pie plates and call it banana split pies.
