My husband absolutely HATES leftovers (I know... Crazy!, but he took this in his lunch to work the next day with the fixins for a sandwich! This was so juicy, and so tender, we didn't even need a knife to cut it! The flavor was amazing and so very delicious! I definitely recommmend marinating it overnight, or even longer if you can! I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was an awesome meal! This was the most fantastic dish ever! Definitely a winner in my house! You knocked this one out of the ball park, Paula!!! :

I took a pork loin and marinated with the ingredients Paula suggested. I used KC Masterpiece original bbq sauce in the marinade. This was totally fabulous. I smoked mine using applewood and hickory wood. My 15 month old grandson just about ate us all under the table. Flavorful but not overpowing. Serve it with KC Masterpiece on the side, but everyone like the meat just by itself. I would like to try this in the crock pot and see what happens. For those who ask I am not related to Paula Dean, but I sure would like to be.

I loved this recipe, it turned out amazing. Has anyone tried doing this in a c rock pot? I was curious about using a crockpot for this recipe but unsure how to go about it, any pointers?

I make this a lot when I have company and it always gets rave reviews! It is SO easy to make. It's juicy and tender, and it makes the house smell amazing while it's cooking. Cooking it at a low temperature for a long time really is the key to making it so tender. I love this marinade and have used it on chicken too.

I marinated it for only four hours and it turned out great, we couldn't bring ourselves to put the barbecue sauce on it because it didn't need it!
This recipe has made us fans of pork roast for sure!
    Thanks Paula

I marinated it overnight and then smoked it with hickory wood on my BBQ pit for 2 1/2 hours at 325. It turned out delicous! Very moist and tender. Try it on the pit!

I made this for a family gathering
and it was wiped out. I will certainly
try this again. Wonderful taste and
    very moist.

I've made lots of pork roasts, but this is the tenderest of them all. I marinate for 24 hours and forget the BBQ sauce. Sometimes make my own fruity sauce with cranberries and peach preserves. It's a winner!

I used this marinade on pork loins and my family absolutely loved the flavor. I was even asked if I set some of the unused marinade aside to use as a dipping sauce. Unfortunately I didn't. This recipe will be re-used!

I tried following the cooking directions indicated in the recipe instead of following Michael's grilling suggestions that were aired on Paula's Home Cooking. I was very disappointed. The meat wasn't as tender as I had hoped and the flavor was too bland for my taste. I plan on making this again, only I will follow Michael's grilling directions.
