I recently stopped eating pork and have had a hard time figuring out good food...........besides chicken!! My pork ribs were so good, fall off the bone tender and omg my bbq sauce, not to toot my own horn, but dang it was good on the ribs. Anyway today I made these short ribs for the first time and i have to say, very impressed. I loved these. =

This isa great simple recipe. Not a lot of preparation. Not too hard to cook, and it makes some great leftovers if there are any left.

Absolutely delicious and soooo easy! I used 2.5 lbs of boneless short ribs (I hate bones and cooked it in a dutch oven on the stove for about 2 hrs. and 15 mins. The short ribs shreaded easily with two forks. I doubled the sauce so there was plenty to spoon over buns before serving. I also added a little honey and I used dijon mustard. My kids are already asking when we will be having this again!

The sauce was delicious. However, I don't see how this could possibly serve 4, so I took away one star.

I didn't bother browning anything, just tossed it all in the crockpot on high for two hrs and low for 1 hr. The meat was falling off the bone, and the sauce was extremely tasty.

We love this recipe and have made it numerous times; it also works really well for parties. We used boneless short ribs sliced into one inch pieces, browned the meat on the stove, added the 'sauce' ingedients (doubled the sauce for more juice and flavor and then transferred everything to a crock pot. We cooked on low until the meat was falling apart. After cooling for a bit we shredded the meat with 2 forks and served meat and extra sauce on soft dinner rolls... delicious and a real crowd pleaser

This receipe is wonderful and easy. I didn't cook the ribs first, instead I placed all the ingredients in a crockpot (high setting and walked away until dinner time. I then pulled all the meat off the bones, placed it back in the crockpot and we ate the rib meat (with juice on large sesame buns and it was delicious- thank you for another good one Paula!!
