It was delicious; have made it several times for home and to take to church pot luck! The sauce is especially good and good with other meats like barbeque sliders!

This is "almost" my mother's meatloaf recipe (which I make all the time. But the basics are there in the sauce - tomato, vinegar and brown sugar. Also great next day or on rolls. With mashed potatoes, this is poor comfort food!

I found out about this recipe from my mother and we both make it fairly often. My family isn't usually too excited about meatloaf, but they all really like this version. I even make it ahead and bag the meat part in a freezer bag and the sauce in a separate baggie then freeze it for later. I let it thaw in the fridge the night before and then take it out, shape it into the pan and follow the directions the rest of the way. I've never had to thin the sauce and I just use a 15 ounce can of tomato sauce instead of 2 8oz cans. It comes out great every time!

Made this for my dads birthday dinner tonight per his request for good old home cooking. I honestly didn't expect the flavor to be so good. Do yourself a favor and double the sauce. It's phenomenal.

This is hands down the best meatloaf recipe that I have ever made. I can't see doing it any other way from now on! You just can't go wrong with Paula Deen!

This was a good and easy meatloaf. It was the first meatloaf I have ever made. My whole family liked it, and ate 2nds and 3rds. Can't wait to make it again.

I make a pretty good meatloaf anyway, but this one - SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! I read at least 5 reviews prior to making this dish. I was keenly aware of the supposidly "soupy" meat mixture. Needless to say, when making this dish I eyeballed the amount of sauce in the meat mixture and followed the rest of the recipe. I have to agree with one of the reviews I read saying the person(s read the receipe wrong. The meatloaf did not fall apart and was very moist and delicous. The BBQ flavor/sauce is a wonderful change from ketsup or plain "ole" tomato sauce. This dish is definitely a keeper. My husband the picky non-chalant eater that he is said "Dinner was EXCELLENT!"

This is the best meatloaf I've ever had! I did tweak the recipe a little because it had a lot of onions so I cut back on those a little . I also soaked the bread crumbs in milk first and it made the meatloaf very moist and juicy.
