I was a little leary about adding so many onions, but I think this vegetable is actually what made the meat so moist. Aside from the moisture, nothing to write home about on the meat. In fact, it seems as though I may have needed to add another egg and maybe even a little more of the bread crumbs to keep it from crumbling. Now, the sauce on the otherhand, makes for delicious flavor and looks nice pasted on top. If only that taste was throughout the meat itself, I'd give it 5 stars.

OMGoodness! I made Paula's BBQ meatloaf for my son 3 years ago and misplaced it. This is it!! Most delicious and satisfying meatloaf I had ever eaten. Aromatic and scrumptuous. The aromas as you're preparing it will wake up a sleeping man - and it did! Now that my son is married, this is going to be on my menu for dating.

I have tried Paula's traditional meatloaf and loved it so I wanted to try something a little different by her. It was great! Served it with mixed greens, mac & cheese, potato salad, and cornbread. For those with issues of being too wet or not enough flavor...you must know how to adjust your food. I added my own meatloaf seasoning packet and also subbed worcestire sauce with a1 and soy sauce, delicious! Another awesome recipe by her is lasagna roll ups. Good twist on a classic.

I absolutely did not like this recipe, it turned out very wet and did not hold a shape it ended up tasting like sloppy joes. and I also thought that it was too sweet.

This was delicious and very easy to throw together. I think the keys to this recipe are not using a meatloaf pan (I used a cookie sheet lined with tin foil and basting every 15 minutes. Will definitely be making this one again!

This is exatly like a recipe I found in an ad for Hunt's Tomato Sauce, in Life magazine in 1951! I had just been married and this was the first thing I ever cooked for my husband. It turned out great and everyone was so complimentary to the neophyte cook! I loved it then, and it is as good as it ever was. Gets rave reviews every time
