When I saw this recipe for a barbequed meat loaf, I have to say... I didn't think it would turn out. You see I have been married for just about 24 years now. I have tried making a meat loaf so many times. Most of the time it was bland or just plain aweful! (My dog wouldn't have eaten the old recipes. Last night I made Paula's recipe for this meat loaf and my entire family was impressed. They couldn't believe that I made this wonderful meat loaf! It is the perfect example of true comfort food! From now on, it will be the only meat loaf recipe I will use!

Wow! This recipe is excellent. The meatloaf is very moist and flavorful. Did not change anything in the recipe. I have never been able to find a great meatloaf recipe...NOW I have one! A definite "Make Again" in our house.

We loved this! Much, much better than that certain restaurant's version(the one with the country store inside. This was by far the best meatloaf I have ever made. It held it's shape very nicely and made awesome sandwiches too!

I have baking a lot of Paula's recipes lately and found them to be excellent. However, I baked the Barbeque Meat Loaf for my entire family. Acutally, I had to make two meatloafs due to my large family. They enjoyed it and gave me great praises. All I can say is 'YOU GO PAULA'!! I really love you and your show.

I saw this show and immediately went out to buy the ingredients. I used ground turkey. The sauce is what makes it so delicious. This recipe is a winner. All of Paula's recipes are. She and Rachel Ray are my favorites.

This recipe was very simple to make. I liked the fact that the meatloaf wasn't confined to a loaf pan and that it was kept moist not only by the sauce that you make but by it's own juices. The only thing that I would change for next time is that my husband thinks it's a bit on the sweet side. So maybe a bit less brown sugar and maybe a little garlic salt. Overall though very tasty!!

Very Easy to make! Barbeque Sauce was great. Almost reminded me of Grandmother's. I think I will try substituting cracker crumbs for the bread crumbs...I think that will make it perfect.

I gave this recipe four stars because it was super moist and tender, but in my opinion, the flavor just didn't quite measure up. I did substitute 1/2 pound of ground pork for 1/2 pound of ground beef, I also grated my onion, added the Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture (courtesy Rachel Ray's recipe, and used prepared barbeque sauce. I felt the meatloaf was very tasty, as long as there was barbeque sauce with each bite, but without the sauce, it was lacking in flavor. However, I will try this again, and next time I will give the barbeque sauce that comes with the recipe a try.
