Served 9 people for my husband's surprise "Home from Iraq" dinner. Everyone LOVED this chicken!! Had some great grill flavor to it. Will definitely use this recipe again!!

Great flavor! I substituted garlic infused olive oil for half of the butter for cooking and in the spread. A little spread goes a long way and is perfect for adding to rice, potatoes, bread, pasta, veggies, anything.

I followed this recipe to the millimeter and I thought the taste was fantastic. The family loved it also! The best part about it was the basil butter! We used it all within the week on potatoes, corn, toast. I threw the rest of it (melted into ground turkey (another typically dry meat for turkey burgers. I will def use it again.

Made this tonight and my whole family liked it. I wasn't to sure how my wife would like it because she thinks chicken that isn't marinated is dry but she found this delicious.

What's the point of removing the skin and the adding tons of butter? Should have left skin on and put compound butter underneath. That way the butter would bast and season as it cooks, requiring a lot less fat. If this is Paula's best I don't think I will be trying too many more recipes. Bye for now I have to go clean my arteries.

sander06 - why on earth would you rate a recipe without trying it? Has no one explained the principals to you? Please don't waste the time of those that try it and give it an honest rating. You are not helping.

The chicken tasted good, but if I make this again I have to get if off the grill quicker as it was a little tough. I froze the spread to cut up and slice on grilled steaks.
