I was sick in bed and it was my husbands turn to make dinner and he made these fries along with our fish fry. I was so surprised! So much flavor and great taste!! If my husband continues to cook like this I'm gonna throw in my apron and hand my job over to him! He did add hot paprika to the batter and it added such a nice smokey flavor. Wonderful!!

The fries were pretty good. I only wish that the recipe had exact amounts of salt and pepper! I didn't want them too strong and they ended up not having a lot of flavor. I guess it'll just be trial and error to find the right mix!

I got a little messy while making them but these fries were WELL worth it. My boyfriend was eating them as they came out of the frier.

These french fries tasted so good. I used them in the deep fryer and they turned out perfect. Adding enough salt and pepper to the flour really puts the flavor in the potatoes. I even left the skin on and it was good...this just cuts out one extra step. I will be making these on a regular basis now. Way to go Paula!

These fries are so good and really easy to make, what I also liked about the fries is that there not oily at all! Just make sure the oil is really, really hot before you fry them or they wont crisp well (learned that on my first batchI also made a basil mayo that went perfect with the fries. My family loved the fries and I'm not allowed to make regular French Fries anymore these are now the favorite!

I tried these and they are just like the ones I buy at the store. I have relied upon Paula many times, and every time I use her recipes, I get rave reviews myself, then I make sure they know where I got them from. Paula is the best!
