Fingerlick'n good! Perfect balance of flavors without overwhelming your senses. No BBQ sauce needed! Just pour the juices on top and let the pork get happy. I added the garlic powder to my rub and it definitely enhanced the flavor. Definitely worth waiting for. Thanks Paula!

It was okay. I actually only put half of the ingredients for the dry rub except for the brown sugar of which I put all : I just couldnt bring myself to add that much salt. I let in sit in frig all night with the dry rub and cooked it the next day. It was pretty spicy, even though I had halved the cayenne, but I like spicy. It did have a lot of flavor. I dont think I would have liked it so much with all of the salt, pepper and cayenne. It was good, I just like my pulled pork with more bbq sauce cooked in .

wow! I made this last night for the superbowl and it was a huge hit! I used 3 pork loin's from trader joes and refrigerated them with the dry rub overnight! I actually didnt use the red wine vinegar, but I did add a little of red wine that I was drinking. i was able the shred the pork with a spoon! UNBELIEVABLE

I really liked this recipe, it was quick and simple and the end flavor was delicious. I added a few more spices to my dry rub (garlic powder, onion powder and dried ground chipotle pepper but that was it and everyone loved it. We doubled the recipe to serve a big crowd and it was enjoyed by all!! Make sure to serve it with coleslaw it really goes well with it and adds a nice crunch and coolness to the spices of the meat. Cooking in oven results are better than crock pot by far!!

Excellent! I have made several different recipes for this kind of sandwich. I would say this is the best so far. I believe it is worth the work to cook in the oven rather than the crock pot. The heat is different and produces a better result. I let the rub stay on overnight. Used two 3.5 lb shoulder roasts for 12 people. Still had somr leftovers. I made 1.5 times the rub but did not need to alter the amount of the liquid ingredients. You will not be disappointed with the marriage of these flavors on your meat. Try it for sure

Great flavor! I made mine in the crock pot instead of roasting it in the oven and it came out great.

This recipe is easy, and wonderfully delicious !! The pork was so tender it literally fell off the bone. I couldn't believe the taste ! I have made this so many times I don't even need the recipe anymore. I have given the reciipe away as well. I made a huge amount of the rub and put it in glass containers with ribbons as Christmas gifts for all the bbq / pulled pork fans in my family. They all loved it. Way to go Paula !

This recipe was on point. My family (5adults and (2 children could'nt get enough. There were no leftovers even though my pork roast was 6 pounds. I would have given this 5 stars but the pullednpork/barbeque in Rocky Mount, NC is the best!

This pulled pork was so good. I needed to make lunch for several people and they all cook good. They loved it. The pulled pork was so moist and flavorful. I put the dry rub on late in the evening and let it marinate overnight. I used less cayenne pepper but it wasn't noticeable. It smells so good baking. I was concerned about the aluminum foil only because I thought well the dutch oven has a lid but I used both and it was perfect. I am going to try this with tacos next. Oh and I just used store bought coleslaw.
