Hahahaha!! How funny, that some people would actually put the whole batch of seasoning into this one dish!! I know the recipe doesn't say specifically how much to use... but I mean COME ON, it's called common sense.
Anyway, this recipe is one of my favorites to make, and it is my husband's absolute favorite thing for dinner. I leave the mushrooms out because he and the kids are picky and don't like them, but that is the only change I make and it's a hit every time. So yummy.

Tasty does not even start to describe this recipe!! It is super easy to make and beyond delicious. I find it easier to cut the beef into bite size chunks when initially prepping the meat. I am amazed anyone would use the entire quantity of House Seasoning on the meat. It is strong stuff. I made 1/4 of the recipe and still used a little bit. My six year old loves this and has no idea there are mushrooms in it because I chop them up tiny.

Great stuff my kids and my wife LOVE it. It's easy to make, I make a double recipe so I can give my kids leftovers when they come home from school. We LOVE it.

Great easy recipe. I used stew meat that I had as well as golden mushroom soup....the flavor was great!

This was delightful! I had some beef tenderloin tips in the freezer. Perfect. I did not change a thing. I have to say that when I pulled out my house seasoning I had to chuckle. I showed my husband the container! He just shook his head. I am certainly not at all perfect. As a matter of fact I my last couple of meals have been in the garbage! However, really you would put all that in a recipe? This is definitely a keeper.

very good.... I stole a great idea from Rachael Ray ~ add about 1 tablespoon dijon mustard to the sauce as it simmers. It really adds another layer of flavor without adding more salt! Yum

My family loved this recipe. I used stew meat that I cut into strips and added a little red wine to de-glaze the the pan after cooking the meat. It was delicious. This is definitely going into the monthly rotation.

Very good recipe and so easy to follow and sooo delish! I ended up using 3-4 tablespoons of flour to thicken the recipe to the right consistency. I can't believe so many people mistook the recipe and used the whole 1 1/2 cups of House Seasoning though... Haha. Yuck! I will definitely make this meal again!

Used Top Sirloin..added garlic cloves and more garlic powder. Was very flavorful. Served over egg noodles and green beans on the side. Made a great meal! But I have to agree, the reviewers who are leaving negative comments because of "too much salt" you all need glasses or a refresher course in cooking. Who I ask would actually use an entire cup of salt on ANY dish? READ PEOPLE and THINK!
