Right on point Paula! Exactly the flavor I was looking for in a VERY easy recipe! My only kickup: A little red wine in with the onions and mushrooms to de-glaze the pan (subtracted the volume from the beef broth. If you're looking for a warming yummy meal add some steamed broccoli and you're done.

This family "LOVES" Paula Deen, however, we prepared this according to the recipe and I have to say, it was by far the saltyest foul tasting stroganoff. Sorry Paula, but there was so much salt in this that the whole family turned away from it.

This wasa terrible, meat (round steak was tough, the dish tasted like beef boullion and no flavor. I think the only way to make a real Stroganoff is the old fashion and expensive method with Filet and lots of mushrooms and sour cream.

Note: We've reworded the instructions to read sprinkle the steak strips with House Seasoning to lightly cover them.

With a touch more of the house seasoning, this simple dish was perfect.

I usually do not comment on recipes but saw it may be necessary with some of the comments I'm seeing. There are a lot of complaints of the dish being too salty. The House Seasoning portion of the recipe is separate from the Stroganoff. It's not saying to dump all the seasoning on the steaks. It just says too lightly season the meat. Seasoning is always to taste based on your tastes and the tastes of the people you are cooking for. SWEET JESUS people, a cup of salt? Did you think it would be anything else but salty? Made this tonight and seasoned it to my taste. Tasted good but didn't blow my socks off. Easy enough that I'll make it again sometime.
