Very easy sauce to make less than 5 minutes. I did not use as much vinegar, and I used more horseradish, but it is a wonderful alternative to traditional bbq sauce, it has a nice little kick to it.

This is different and a nice change. It has a hint of a buffalo wing dressing. Definitely worth a try.

loved, loved this sauce!!! And I do agree w/the others re the typos. Should be 1/4cup water & 2T apple cider vinegar
...being from South Carolina, we only use Duke's mayo (the absolute best in the world & that made this recipe WONDERFUL! so good w/chicken and ribs..
...also great as dip/dressing. Thanks Paula & Bob!

Boy, I went through many gallons of this fabulous sauce when I lived in Alabama. I was so happy to see the recipe!! It is quite an unusual bbq sauce, but once you try it, you're hooked! I love it best on chicken. Marinate it 24 hours and then grill! Wonderful!!!

As another reviewer pointed out, there is a discrepancy in the recipe. It should be 1/4 Cup water, NOT vinegar, and 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar, NOT apple cider. I know this as a fact because I just re-watched the show to double check (I Tivo'd it last nite. Bob went thru each ingredient as he put them in the bowl.
Of course if someone likes it tart then go for the 1/4 Cup vinegar ;-
The sauce with the adjustments is wondeful and I am off to grill some chicken.

I live in Maryland, but my company's home office is in Huntsville, AL. One of my colleagues told me about "white sauce" and when I mentioned it to another, she said she loved it. They both said Big Bob's was the best. I tried this recipe, and honestly, I'm going through the fridge, freezer and pantry looking for things to dip in it! This is amazingly good!

My husband was salivating when we watched Paula?s BBQ special. This was the recipe he wanted to taste the must since he loves mayo. The next night I made this sauce with some chicken breasts and he was in heaven. Now he asks for it every other week.

I just watched the episode and his recipe included water. I don't see that included in the recipe featured. They have it listed as vinegar and apple cider. It should be water and apple cider vinegar.

This sause was a nice alternitive to BBQ Sauce. Very tangy, I toned it down a little with some half and half.
