I just took it out of the oven 15 mins ago and dipped in it nice and hot and it was grrrrrrrrrrrreat!!! I did alter Rum with Brandy and added a lil nutmeg to bring out all the flavors...I have no complaints!

I'm not the biggest fan of Paula's, but when I saw this recipe I was very intrigued. It came out perfect! Not too eggy in the middle, which has always been my main reason for not being the biggest fan of most bread puddings. I halved the recipe, didn't add the fruit and added a bit extra condensed milk. The rum sauce was great...will def make it again.

Pudding too dry even with the addition of a little extra milk & tasted like toasted doughnuts. Even the fruit cocktail couldn't save it. When I think of 'sauce' I think of something that can actually be poured from a pan. Added extra butter and more more rum to this disaster of a sauce'. Sickning sweet mess, I threw it away. Waste of time and a good box of doughnuts.
