I loved this recipe!!! Instead of making the biscuits into sticks, I rolled the dough and cut biscuits for a kick-up on pigs and the blanket. I wrapped the biscuits filled with bbq, cheese, and a all beef hot dog. mmmm!!! My family loved them so much. The crust was realllllly tasty!!! Good job Paula!!!

I mixed the dough with my hands then turned onto counter not kneading too much. These are marvelous!

Great recipe but you need to put Paula's Picture on it instead of Giada's. Food Network is the best channel on TV.. Mary

The proportions are just right for a great biscuit recipe. I do not cut them into sticks. I cut them into 2 1/2 inch biscuits. I use 5 tablespoons shortening for a base biscuit for a rich meal. I add more shortening or butter when I want a richer result. Great recipe!

Excellent, easy to put together in a flash. I used heavy cream (leftover from another recipe and it made them even better than my grandmother's biscuits!
