They were so soft and delicious! The only problem I had was that they didn't rise very much at all. I rolled them out pretty thin, thinking they would rise, so they ended up being pretty thin....I guess next time I will know to make them thicker. And with my oven, it took longer than 12 minutes (more like 15

These took a little longer than 12 minutes to bake in my oven so I just watched them until they browned on top. They turned out just like my grandmother's. Thanks, Paula!

I forgot to make the rolls for Christmas dinner and thought...I will go to Miss Paula and see what she has for me. Made them in 15 minutes and the family raved. Excellent ideas on here about the cinnamon. Can't wait to try that!!! Baked it at 400* for 12 minutes - perfect.

Try substituting 4-6 tsp. (based on intended yield ground cinnamon instead of salt, and serve as breakfast biscuits.

Simple recipe that produced light and fluffy biscuits. 400 degrees worked out very well. Excelent with homemade gravy and sausage on a cold day.

Really an exceptional recipe. Obviously, someone goofed and forgot to put down what temperature to bake it at. 400 degrees farenheit is good, so just remember to preheat the oven ahead of time. Also, they were a bit salty for my taste, I'd use 1/2 a teaspoon instead of a whole one. And delicious as they are plain, I usually add blueberries, cranberries, or chocolate chips to make it even better.

Just copied this recipe and plan to make it soon.
Looking at all the comments about the type-o about someone forgetting to include the baking temperature.
400 degrees fahrenheit sounds good to me, as the first review person figured it out.
If it doesn't work well with your oven and altitude-try lowering the oven temperature.
After all -for the people that blamed it not turning out "perfect" and dissing the recipe-
Nobody is perfect- give them a break!
Hey Connie! Spell much?

I made these biscuits in a round pan and put them in the oven at 400* for 20 minutes. With a medium size biscuit cutter I got 14 biscuits. They are so good and flaky and taste much better than store bought. I will definitely keep this recipe.
