Did what the recipe said, but mine came out terrible. I baked my biscuits at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, as was said in a lot of reviews i read.. If anyone can give my some words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

After reading the reviewsi too went with 425 for about 15 mins. The only thing i changedwith the recipe was the salt. I halved it and it was almost yoo salty then but nothing that ruined the taste.
    These turned out great.
I didnt have a skillet that coukd go in the oven so i used a glass cake pan instead.

I'm an experienced baker...that being said, I've never made biscuits. I know, I know. So weekend breakfast typically consists of a shared omelette with herbs and parmesan, with pancakes or waffles, but my 6 year old loves biscuits. Really, a biscuit is just an excuse to eat jelly, but anyway, I thought I'd try some this morning. She and her sister helped, easy to follow recipe, wonderful output. My 8 year old says "mommy, you have magic hands!" I'm going to explore some more biscuit variations...like mixing in cheese and herbs as another poster did. I got 10 biscuits...and maybe could have had 12 with the extra dough the girls played with. I wasn't sure of the temp, but read a few comments for 425 (thanks.

I just looked in on my biscuits, and they look really good. The last time that I made them they didn't come out right, they didn't rise at all and they didn't taste good. But I can tell just from peeking in on them they are going to be a delight! :
