These are the easiest dumplings to make! I have made these many times and they are my husband's all-time favorite!! I even just made them for his birthday!

Loved it! I used strawberries instead because I didn't have any blueberries handy. Perfect.

Amazing will definitely make again. I added more sugar and used blackberries instead of blueberries.

Wow!! This is an awesome dessert. I decreased the water by 1/2cup and added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with the sugar and water in the blueberries. This allowed for a thicker syrup. My dumplings were perfect. Topped it off with BlueBell Homemade Vanilla. Everyone loved this. We will definitely be cooking this again and again.

Love the idea of blueberry dumplings, but really wasn't that impressed with this. The sauce was pretty good, though the dumplings could have tasted better. I did decrease the water as other reviewers suggested and served with ice cream. The others I served this too felt the same about the dish as I did.

I am perplexed by other people's remarks that this recipe is a winner and delicious. I loved the idea of blueberry dumplings as a dessert but after following the recipe other than adding less water than it called for the blueberry sauce came out like soup and the dumplings were flavorless and doughy (I added cinnamon to the dough too. I used 4 cups of fresh blueberries and after one bite of this dessert threw the whole pot of blueberry soup with the dumplings down the drain. What a waste of my time and of ingredients especially for buying expensive blueberries. My husband concurrs this recipe is awful.
