These were delicious! I made exactly how the recipe states. I think the other reviewers only gave 3 stars because they don't have as much sugar as most other recipes call for. That is why you sprinkle the sugar on top for the extra sweetness. Mine came out perfect. Thanks Paula!

I had some fresh blueberries in the fridge that were nearing their expiration so I Google'd for a quick recipe to make muffins with them. I had all the ingredients so I tried it. The two tablespoons did seem excessive to me but by the time I noticed some of the reviews it was already mixed. They are absolutely delicious! They are so light and tasty. I followed the recipe exactly with one exception. Since I didn't have whole milk I used half cup 2% and 1/4 cup half and half. I also used a few more blueberries than stated. I am unsure why so many folks had problems. Someone also stated that the recipe is incorrect ( 2tsp instead of 2 tblsp but if you watch the video included she clearly states 2 tablespoons of baking powder. Don't over mix is what I would suggest - otherwise enjoy!

They were awesome!! Not too much to complain about actually and there was NO baking soda taste. Which was surprising due to the other reviews with so much to complain about. Anyways I would recommend them over my mums old recipe...

The muffins looked very good, but the taste... The worst I ever tasted. I thing too much baking soda. Very disappointed. I should have checked the reviews before making them not after. Total waste of the butter and blueberries.

I am very disappointed with how they came out and a bit shocked. I don't know what I did wrong but looking through other reviews. I can only assume it was the baking powder.

These turned out pretty good. I usually read the reviews on a 3 star recipe, but I assumed a Paula recipe would be great. I had already made the batter when I realized this was 3 stars. I too paused when I saw 2 tbsp of baking powder, but went ahead. I did add vanilla and some extra milk because I thought the batter was too doughy. I tried one before I served them and was very pleased. These were yummy and the family loved them. Will definately keep this recipe.

Usually I check the reviews before trying a recipe, but this one seemed simple enough so I just went ahead and made them. It was so easy I was amazed. I took a look at the reviews after they were made and became very nervous and was angry at myself for not checking first. I tried one of the muffins and couldn't believe how delicious they were! They had just the right amount of sweetness; most muffins are way to sweet.....more like cake than muffins. I don't know why some people had such different results. Next time I will use 2 teaspoons of baking powder instead of 2 tablespoons because that probably is the correct amount but I will DEFINITELY be making these again. The only change I made was I only used approximately 1/4 cup of sugar (maybe less to sprinkle on top of the muffins.
