These are the top tasting blueberry muffins have had. Super moist! And fairly easy to make.

Like other reviews suggested, I did change the baking powder amount however it didn't help the taste. There was no flavor to these at all. It's as if there is some sugar missing to them...I threw them away.

Don't waste your blueberries on this recipe! Absolutely tastless! Tops would not even brown up. Tastless except for the blueberries. Very disapointed :(

Wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE I made these. Just wasted all of my hand-picked blueberries on these muffins. Knew there was something wrong as soon as I tasted them! Maybe someone could change the recipe on the main page instead of finding out about the error in the reviews!

Hi guys, There is a typo on this recipe if you look on the actual Paula Dean website it is as follows:
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 cup whole milk
1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup granulated brown sugar or white sugar

The Blueberry Muffin recipe tastes like a big blob of baking powder! Is there suppose to be two TABLESPOONS of baking powder??? I was trying to make these for my great neighbor! I guess I could give them to the neighbor I do not like?!

If you look at the other recipes for blueberry muffins (double blueberry muffins, Gale Gand, 5 star ratings
it calls for 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Her recipe also calls for 2 cups of flour and only 2 teaspoons of baking powder, not two tablespoons. I believe this is a typo.

I was leery after reading reviews but needed to use up some blueberries. Thought they were actually very good. However, I didn't like the brown sugar sprinkled on top and scraped it off. The batter is thick, but they baked up nice and moist.
