This is the best tilapia recipe that I've come by and I use it all the time! Purely delicious!

Perfectly simple..... I actually only changed the recipe by using lemon instead of lime and it was great!

I like that the lime doesn't really mask the taste of the fish. My partner had never tried tilapia, and I wanted her to serve it to her not just plain but not really herby or strong-flavoured. This dish is nice and light (although I'd probably use less than a pat of butter per fillet next time, but I don't love the limey flavour. She said it had a hint of bitterness. Although as week speak she's polishing it off, so I suppose it wasn't too big a problem.

What a wonderful, light tasting dish! Lime adds a nice zest to the tilapia. Great change from always using lemon with fish. Easy to prepare and quick!

Yummy and oh so easy to make. My kids, who aren't super picky but aren't really fish fans, ate every last bite of the tilapia. Would definitely make this again.

Made this meal for my husband and myself tonight and it was delicious! The 6 oz filets were tender and cooked just long enough at 10 minutes. I would have preferred to use a cast iron pan, but all I had was an 11x7 glass Pyrex pan and it worked alright. Use plenty of zest; the flavor does dissipate as it cooks. I served it with the Almond Rice Pilaf and the ribbons of vegetables as they did on the episode. It was all delicious and very pretty.

Clockie61, there is a very similar griddle on ebay. There were 6 available but now there are just 5 because I bought one! I can't wait to make Bobby's Talapia dish on it. The griddle is $19.99 but shipping/handling is $22.00. Still, $42.00 seemed reasonable for this very cool, unusual griddle. I typed in "cast iron griddle" on ebay. Good luck!

My family all really enjoyed the fish. I liked it also and I am not a big fish eater. Will make this again.
