I base this off of my first experience with Tilapia. The lime certainly added an enjoyable flavor and this made a nice meal with Sunny Anderson's Honey Glazed Carrots and Alton Brown's Steamed Asparagus. It was very easy to make and didn't take very long at all. Just make sure you thaw out the fish first!

I loved the simplicity of this dish but ..... taste wise it was just ok for me. I found it seriously lacking in flavor and ended up adding a mixture of lemon juice, EVOO & dijon mustard to try and pick up the flavor level. Tilapia is a very mild fish to begin with so I think it needs more than just 2 ingredients (lime & butterto be at it's best. I usually love all "Deen" recipes but this one is not a favorite.

Easy, Quick and Bright. I made this on a Monday night in spring with Alton Brown's Steamed Asparagus and it was fantastic. Everyone liked this one.

Tilapia is a major dish at our house. Because it is inexpensive and you can buy it individually frozen. However ,this recipe is at best disappointing.
I cook ours on the stovetop with olive oil (with a small tab of butter for flavoring, lemon, pepper, (sometimes a mild chipolte {Northwoods Seasoning by Penzy's is great] and occasionally we put a favorite herb for additional flavor.

Was good, not great. Definitely need to cook longer, bout 10 minutes. And if I make it again, will had more seasoning. My family likes food with a kick.
