as to the griddle used I have heard her say she has an antique cast iron griddle but you can buy a cast iron griddle smooth on one side and grided on the other at a large dept store or a cast iron store it is not like the cast iron of the past but it works pretty good. he said he makes it in a pan

The recipes in this show looked delicious! Does anyone know what brand of griddle was used in this show for the tilapia? I curves up at the ends and appears to have some texture to it. If anyone knows where I can get this griddle (cast iron, PLEASE post an answer!! Thank you very much!! I would like to make the tilapia EXACTLY as she did!!

Absolutely delicious! I omitted (i.e. forgot the butter pads and thought it was fantastic, so that makes me even happier! Fast and easy doesn't hurt either :

Quick, simple and easy to make. Best tilapia recipe I've made. Definitely make it again. Thanks Paula.

Really? All these reviews and no one noticed that the texture was DISGUSTING? My husband made this for me and followed the recipe to a T, but the second I saw the recipe I knew it would turn out badly - who puts fish in a COLD iron skillet then only cooks it for ten minutes? It was a weird steamed texture on the bottom and unevenly cooked. Heat up the skillet with the oven (plus about 10 minutes extra for the skillet to come to temperature, and this simple recipe would be just perfect.

I eat this once a week. Easy to make. I add more spices to it.

This is really a method rather than a recipe. Who doesn't know to season fish with salt, pepper, butter, and lemon or lime juice? Bobby could have gotten more creative here and maybe added some dill or mint to it, maybe some crushed garlic, etc. to make it more interesting.

Great recipe. Just like they say does not taste very fishy. Will absolutely make again. Did have to cook it about ten minutes longer but I am not a fan of slightly undercooked fish at all.
