Wow! This was so delicious! I've been looking for this recipe. This is what my Mom called American Chop Suey. I cut the recipe in half and it went so fast, I had to make the other half the next day! Used LARGE elbow macaroni, but added 1 1/2 cups to the halved recipe. I saw comments that the macaroni got mushy, but mine was el dente, so maybe using the large size makes a difference. I didn't measure the seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper as listed. Instead I just seasoned the meat with it as I would browning any ground meat, then added a couple more shakes to the sauce. Not at all salty. Added a tablespoon of sugar and a can of sweet corn with the juice at the very end, because that is what Mom did. The sweetness cut the acid of the tomatoes and made it savory with a touch of sweet. I will make this over and over again - great idea for a pot luck or sports watching party. Bobby hits a home run with this one!

I made this tonight, if i make it again I will leave out the Italian seasoning, i did not like that aspect of it at all, I also didn't use the seasoned salt at all, I didnt have a problem with the soy sauce as I used low sodium soy sauce.

We made this recipe, but as we were adding ingredients, we thought there was too much seasoned salt, so we cut it in half. It turned out great! If we had added more salt, it would have been too much to stomach.

I would only make one change. Leave out the soy sauce and use Worchestire instead

Quick meal! I made this last night after seeing Bobby & Paula on Rachel Ray show. I made one change since I thought there was Enough sodium in recipe. I used Worchestire sauce instead of the soy sauce and it was delicious. I also cut the recipe in half, will definitely be a keeper! Served w/salad and garlic bread quick meal!

I loved the seasonings, but way too SALTY!!!!!!! Had to throw it out. I'll make it again, but will leave the salt out and add as needed.

This was a huge hit in my house! I did take note of everyone's comment on salt. All I did was removed the salt from the House Seasoning and reduced the amount of Seasoned Salt and that seemed to do the trick for us. This way, it gave my family the opportunity to adjust the salt content to their liking.

This was terrible! All I tasted was salt. Made the recipe exactly as written. My husband and I ate one bowl a piece and threw the rest out. There is no way there should be that much salt in a recipe. I'm pissed I wasted money on this.

This goulash was so easy to make and it tasted good except that it was way too salty I cut the salt by about 1/3 but I would cut it to about 1/4 of what the recipe calls for. I will definitely make it again because I love one pot meals but I will use unsalted tomatoes, no or low salt tomato sauce and low sodium soy sauce and then cut the salt by less than half of what the recipe calls for. It was sooo salty but still soooo good.

Although this goulash was very saucy and filling, I could only give 3 stars to this recipe because even after reducing the amount of salt based seasonings it was WAY too salty!! I only added 1.5 T of reduced sodium soy sauce and maybe a teaspoon or two of the seasoned salt and house seasoning! Next time I make this I will be omitting both the season salt and the house seasoning and possibly adding other herbs and spices to give flavor without making this into a salt lick!
