    My family loves this recipe. We changed it up a bit to suit our taste. We use penne pasta instead of elbow macaroni, and we also add some ground red pepper for a bit of a zip.

    This reminds me of my mom's cooking - she used to add a can of corn to it so I did that also - very good - I will make again.

    I didn't add the house seasoning because I general try to reduce sodium in our diets. I don't think it turned out fine without it.

    My husband loved this recipe and raved about it to our neighbors, family, and friends. It has a lot of flavor and really shows anyone who you make this for, that they are loved and cherished. Thanks Paula

    We really like this recipe and I have made it several times. However, my husband cannot have tomatoes due to the seeds, so I substitute with tomato juice. I like a less tender pasta and have found mini penne to be greater.

    Next time will definitely cut down on the salt. Also found to be a little too heavily seasoned with the Italian seasoning. Will also reduce on that.

    Everything was good about it, except I felt the pasta was mushy. The more days it sat, the better it was reheated. I left out the soy sauce and seasoning salt.

    We enjoyed this recipe very much. I use low sodium soy sauce, so I didn't find it too salty at all. I don't care for oregano, so I skipped the Italian Seasoning and used Basil instead. I usually add corn to my goulash, which I would probably do the next time. I also used 2 lb ground beef and 1 lb ground turkey as Paula did on this episode. I like a firmer pasta, so I might shorten the simmer time, or use a different type of pasta. All in all, we thought it was a keeper.
