Goulash is one of my favorite childhood comfort reviews, but I never made it because my husband didn't like it. WOW! He raved about this recipe and has asked for it weekly. How about that?

This was very tasty. I did modify the recipe, only to accommodate the ingredients I had on hand. Since I had fresh tomatoes and basil from my garden I used them. I also used V8 (vegetable juice and tomato past, as I didn?t have any tomato sauce. I always salt my food to taste so I didn?t have an issue with it being to salty. When my three year old ate what was given her, she asked for ?more of those rainbows (elbow macaroni please?.

This is a nice recipe for goulash.
After reading other reviews I decided to leave out one tablespoon of salt.
It turned out nice nobody added any salt to it at the table and it went fast. Great served with shreeded cheese on top. Just rember you can always add salt at the table.

This was easy to make and the taste was delightful. It reminded me of my mother's Monday/washday Goulash. Real comfort food. P.S. Put in the required amount of salt; I did not after reading the other reviews and it definately needed it all.

This was delicious! I made a half a batch and I didn't find it at all too salty. I also added some fresh corn and it really made a nice meal. Way to go Paula!
