This looked and sounded great, but after fixing it for dinner tonight I feel it needs to be tweeked a little. I will make it the next time with less Italian Seasoning and maybe only 3/4ths the amount of salt. I will definitely make it again as we all enjoyed it very much. It is a quick, easy dinner that is very filling. Even my 22 month old grandson who is a picky eater liked it!

This recipe was a simple, easy to follow family favorite. I have a variety of tastes in my home but everyone gobbled up the goulash! Bobby isn't the only "kid" that loves it

I caught the end of the show yesterday, so I didn't see the actual dish being made. After seeing Bobby scoop it into the bowls and savoring every bite, I had to make it. After reading the reviews and noticing the comments on the possibilities of it coming out salty, I decided to hold back on some of the salt. I omitted the one tablespoon of house seasoning salt. That did seem excessive to me especially since the ingredients were already in the recipe. I exchanged one of the 15oz. cans of sauce for Hunts 4 cheese spaghetti sauce and only added 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning. I also added some chopped green pepper because I thought it lacked some flavor and it came out absolutely fabulous. My family could not get enough of it. I think next time I might add some whole kernel corn to make it a complete one dish meal. Thanks Paula/Bobby for giving me the base for a great recipe my family loves.

This was super easy and really good. My husband enjoyed it very much. It's a great meal to make for leftover's. I made it with all ground turkey and multi-grain macaroni. Thanks Paula!

I ade this for my kids and followed the recipe. It was wonderful! I am wondering about the other reviews that said it was so salty...I think the recipie was not followed right. The house seasoning is only 1Tbs. The recipie for the house seasoning makes 1.5 cups. Surely the entire 1.5cups wasn't added?

My family loved this! I followed the recipe and when completed it is a lot of food! My family ate ALL of it in 2 days! I think I'm always going to have some in the fridge because it is so good and easy to warm up and eat quickly!

I followed the recipe exactly as paula outlined it on the Food Network website. It turned out great. NOT SALTY at all.

Remember that there is a lot of unseasoned ingredients in this dish. 3 pounds meat, 3 cups water, canned tomatoes, etc...

    Great Job Paula Loved it.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this is! I don't think it is too salty at all (but I am definitely a salt lover. I did add 2 cans of kidney beans and increased macaroni to 4 c. because I wanted it to be a little more hearty. Perfect! Just hope there's some left for my husband when he gets home! Another winner from Paula!
