We tried this marinade with sirloins on the grill and they were fenomenal. We added a blue cheese topping to them and the combination of flavors was fenomenal.

I tried this receipe in the oven. It was pouring rain out so instead of grilling it, I first browned it real good before putting in oven. Turned out the best I've every had. It was a big hit with everyone. Thanks Paula for another great receipe.

this was fantastic! i had a tenderloin cut and trimmed into nine two inch steaks at the store. i marinated them a few hours (just enough to cover them in a shallow dish then grilled four. the remaining steaks i air sealed and froze for this weekends meal. i had alot of marinade left over and bottled it to use on chicken and anything else really. i have a ton left and it is just soo fantastic. my family raved on and on over this one. thank you paula for the best meal i ever made. it is a keeper. how long can i keep the marinade in the fridge since it has the fresh cilantro in it?

This marinade is delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness from the brown sugar and savory from the cilantro. I plan on using this for all different cuts of meat.

Made this for supper last night. It was just DH and myself but it was SO, SO good! There was only one tiny piece left over! I don't care for cilantro and the store I went to didn't have any fresh parsley so I just used dried and it was fine. Definately a keeper in our house!

I followed the directions, but my tenderloin was like a stiff drink. I would rather not eat my booze...but reading the other raves, I wonder if I did someting wrong? Is she sure about 1 cup of bourbon...

I actually made all of the dishes from that episode and everything was perfect. The tenderloin was so tender and the marinade was supurb! It was by far the best meal I have ever made. And sooo easy! Definitely try her warm apple/goat cheese salad to start!

I used this fantastic recipe for my family for Christmas dinner '04. I served 16 people and received rave reviews! I've since used the same marinade on chicken and had the same results...

Wayyyyyyy too sweet and strong. A sauce should "compliment", not over power a good cut of meat.
