Was easy but didn't like the cream cheese in the sauce. Would omit that next time.

The whole family really enjoyed this. I used a little chunky spaghetti sauce instead of the tomatoes, and it was really good. I imagine salsa would make a nice flavor also. Will definitely make again.

First off, the original recipe did not call for sausage, it called for bacon.
I substituted 1 cup of salsa (Chi Chi's original for the diced tomatoes. It came out a little thicker, tasted better and spread on top of the pancakes nicer.
We ate it without the syrup........tasty.

I wasn't a fan of the Marinara sauce so instead I replaced it with some country gravy, I also didn't have any sausage so I used bacon. Not to Criticize but I like my alteration much better :

This combinatin was very creative but the sauce that goes along with it was aweful.....I can not get this taste of the sauce out of my mouth. I think with out the sauce and cheese this would be great. "I have tried alot of Paula's dishes and this one for me is the worst.
