I made this last easter with a friend and plan on making it again tonight for my family. i may only be 13 but it was a huge hit and gone before i could get crackers back to the table. i modified it by also adding apples in with the nuts and changing the walnuts to pecans. the granny smiths became cinnamon-baked in the oven. Best food I've ever made!!!

I love this recipe. It's in the oven now to go to a Super Bowl party! Real men DO eat brie! I took one short cut this time, and that was to use whole cherry preserves. I've done that one othr time, and it was great. Love Paula's rendition, too, but in a hurry to get out the door! :-

GOOD!!!!!! I give this 4 stars. IT was simple to make and VERY good!!!! I made it for Christmas this year for my family.
I would say dont roll out the dough because if it's too thin the walnuts will poke through and as it cooks the cheese spills out the wholes and it's a little messy.
Over all it was delicious, I would use just a little less brown sugar. Too much and it doesnt cook all the way and can be a little "grainy".
It's worth making and it's very pretty too look at.
Once it cools off a little you can cut it like a pie and that was a nice way to eat it.
    ENJOY!!!!!!

I made this for our New Years Eve party. Everyone absolutely loved it. With comments like "That is the best thing I have ever eatten!" will definitely have me making this again. And it's so easy!! I cut the rind of the whole wheel and left of the walnuts since I am not a huge fan of nuts. Looking forward to trying this out with many other different combinations.
