    Everybody loved this!! I made this as an appetizer for Easter this year, after everybody ate dinner & was stuffed, they still picked at the brie...it was that good, couldn't stop eating it!

    I decided to make this for our Thanksgiving potluck. Everyone loved it. I had a little bit of trouble with the puff pastry. I couldn't unfold it proplery but it still turned out fine. It's such a simple thing to make but makes a great appetizer.

    Not only was this easy to make, but everyone loved it. I was asked to bring an appetizer to a party and I didn't want to spend a lot of money or spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I tried this. Mine didn't look nearly as pretty as Paula's, and I actually thought it looked like somewhat of a disaster, but lots of people at the party commented on how pretty it was. I will definitely be making this again, not just for parties, but also on days when I just want to have a good snack.

    Made this for easter appetizers-Excellent-my son in law gobbled it up. Served with water crackers. I kept it warm i a warming tray. I will make this again and again.

    I've been making variations of this recipe for years. As a former Army wife (26 yrs these basic recipe's are a must for entertaining, as they are easy, quick and ingredients are always easy to find. Typically you can always have these ingredients on hand for a snack if someone stops by or for any social function.

    My favorite variation is cranberries, and 2 or 3 T of Jack Daniels added to nuts and sugar. Let flavors marry for a few hours or overnight, then assemble.

    Great Hostess gift for the holidays if invited to a party or dinner. Your host and hostess can enjoy the next day or pop in for a wonderful snack during the busy holiday season of decorating and shopping! Enjoy !
