I forgot to buy crackers for this recipe when first trying it out... so I looked in the pantry and I found Lays potato chips and I crumble them on top and it was delicious and added the salt that I am guessing that the dish needed by reading all the rest of the reviews.

I make this and it was ok. I mean we ate it all. In fact, my husband really liked it. My daughter who I thought would really liked it only ate a few bites. I only ate it again because I didn't want to waste. I mean it's not all that bad. It is easy that's for sure and I'm sure that why a lot of working Mom's make it, but if most of the family don't like it then why make it again??? It's ok I guess.

I was reading the other comments on this recipe and I have to disagree greatly with the ones that have rated this dish poorly. I make this dish every year for thanksgiving and its always a big hit I think for the people that disliked this dish didn't make it right something had of gone wrong. I think this dish is a great substitute for the oh so very famous Green been casserole.

THis recipe while easy to make and uses readily available ingredients is dull and not very good. I made this for my family to lack luster reviews. I think they felt bad and kept telling me it was good while they pushed it around their plate. I would look for a better recipe.

This was tasty, but I want something more flavorful. It's salty from the soup. I baked it and came out fine.

You need to add onion and a little garlic you can use powder or the real thing. You need to use more cheese, 1-cup sharp and 1-cup cheddarella. Also use Ritz crackers for the topping. You have to use BUTTER lots of butter!! I mean a whole stick of butter for the topping. I also use the cream of broccoli soup. Now you have yourself an Excellent casserole.

I didn't cook the broccoli...I just ran hot water on it to defost. Only used one cup of crackers...the recipe calls for too much. You need to cook it 10 min's longer.

It was so easy. I usually have the ingredients on hand. I have a bag of frozen broccoli and I use frozen brown rice (steamers in the frozen section. It tastes excellent everytime. For those that didn't like it, I suggest you play around with it. There's no reason this shouldn't be a hit!

I made this for a pot luck at work. everyone always teases me because I always tweak my recipes. so i said I'd follow it exactly AND use a measuring cup. Well, I did, and here it is a day later and the dish is still half full. we usually have enough food for two days. this casserole will last longer than that, because no one is eating it. Not good at all.

Made this for dinner tonight for the 1st time - I'm allergic to Mushroom so subbed Cream of Chicken instead. I used 26 oz of frozen Broccoli rather the 20 oz, also added some leftover fresh Cauliflower I had (prob 1/4 cup and eyeballed the cheese (probably used more than 1 c. Not too filling - perfect for a potluck, I'll probably make this again. My daughter finished her whole plate!

Next time I think I'll add more cheese (I <3 cheese! maybe try the sour cream someone else suggested (or cream cheese!, add some salt, more butter if I use crackers again (I didn't think they were too dry this way though or use bread crumbs instead, maybe cheese soup instead of the cream soup also thought about 1 bag of broccoli and 1 of cauliflower... lots of wiggle room in this one - great for cleaning out the cupboards!
