This casserole really lacked flavor. I was very disappointed at this recipe from my favorite chef!

Very good. I did some adjusting to it. I added cooked lean hamburger and onions. The eggs, I just used the whites of the eggs, I did use 3 eggs. Fatfree cream of mushroom soup and light mayonaise. The cheese I sprinkled on top and layered the breadcrumbs on top of the cheese. I didn't have crackers. Just trying to cut down the fat content alittle. It is very good and will make it again.

I have made this exact recipe for years now...the only thing that I add is two tablespoons of grated onion....It will add that extra flavor. try it.

This was the best broccoli casserole I have ever had. Our store didn't have the little boxes of broccoli, so I got two bags (16 ozs. each. I still only used one cup of mayo, and two eggs, but I used two cans of the mushroom soup, regular cheese. I used the wheat Ritz and butter for the topping. I just used the broccoli from the frozen state. Didn't thaw or squeeze out the liquid. I baked as directed and it was perfect. It was set, not runny.
Those of you that thought the mayo was a little much might try adding the extra soup and broccoli. This makes a large pan. I suggest if you are not going to use it all at once, put it into two square pans and freeze one pan. It freezes very well. Good luck.

No one in the family can make a decent broccoli casserole until yesterday. I watched Paula make it on TV & thought I can do that. This was my first time & I used cream of chicken instead of mushroom. I also used frozen broccoli baby florets instead of chopped broccoli. Then I baked it in a 13x9 vintage pyrex dish. It was awesome! Even those who really didn't think it was going to be good enjoyed it. Highly recomended. Enjoy!

This is the first time I make Broccoli Casserole, I usually eat it over my aunt's house. The casserole was ok, my family seemed to enjoy it. I did not have crackers, instead I used crushed tortilla chips, it what I had on hand. Overall, it is a good basic casserole recipe.

I made this for easter dinner for 18 adults and kids (I doubled the recipe and everyone loved it!! All the kids tried it and loved it, as well as the adults. Even my dad, who is in his 70's and has never liked broccoli, liked this recipe so much he went back for seconds!! Unbelievable! This is going to be on our family's holiday dinner menu for many years to come! I did make one change - I omitted the mayo because I do not like mayo at all!

I actually used fresh broccoli which I blanched with plenty of salt ahead of putting this together. That gave it more saltiness. Otherwise, this dish was somewhat of a yawn for my family. My husband threw his out.

This is a great recipe, but I'm not a huge fan of Cream of Mushroom, so I swapped it for Cream of Chicken -- just as creamy!. Then, I added 1/4 tsp of curry powder to the mayo, which just sent it over the top. You can't tell it's curry in the end, but it gives it just a little bit of zing that makes this casserole out of the world.
